Located in northeast Albuquerque, Phoenix Touch Bodyworks Studio of Alchemy & Anima offers complete transformation - body, mind and spirit. It's about the sacred process of rising from less desirable versions of oneself. It's the creation of Destinie Hopkins: Licensed Holistic Healthcare Practitioner, Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist, Esthetician, Master Personal Trainer, Sports Nutrition Counselor & Life Coach. Destinie is truly a restorative artist. "My practice is a sanctuary for renewal and transformation," she says. "I restore health, wellness & beauty through mind, body spirit healing."

Behind the 'Phoenix'

The name Phoenix Touch wasn't chosen by accident. "It's really about the legend of the Phoenix," she explains. "It spawns from the Legend of the Phoenix Rising," she explains. "It's about transformation and the cyclic nature of life, death & rebirth. Within the journey of life, sometimes you meet a defeated version of yourself because you have managed to burn yourself and your world down to the ground, but those beautiful broken souls that still have a flame burning deep within will always rise from the ashes," Destinie says.

"I speak from experience as I am the embodiment of The Phoenix... I came from a hard life and I have known the depths of loss, heartache, sorrow & trauma, but I have always embraced my suffering because I truly understand that which does not kill me makes me stronger. I have such a passion for life, love & and an insatiable hunger to know & experience everything beautiful in this life."

The Bodywork at Phoenix isn’t just your basic “spa massage” - it’s work focused on healing and rejuvenation of your entire being.

Destinie’s signature service, the Intuitive Massage, is customized for YOU: your physical body, your energy, your mind and emotions, identifies what you need, and addresses the whole picture. Destinie also specializes in Sacred Temple Lomi, an ancient healing ritual rooted in the seven shamanic principles of Hawaiian Philosophy (Huna). The touch is nurturing and revitalizing as the strokes replicate healing waters. Body and soul are supported to release, transform and evolve to inspire healing and life within. She also practices many other modalities such as Swedish/deep tissue, orthopedic cupping, myofascial release, muscle scraping, reflexology and Jin Shin Do, a form of acupressure that follows the same pathways as acupuncture without the needles. She offers spa services such as body wraps & exfoliation treatments as well.

Esthetic Services

Destinie is also a licensed esthetician offering an extensive menu of skin therapies, from anti-aging treatments to corrective work for hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, and scarring. She offers galvanic therapy, microneedling, and a variety of chemical peels, all approached with the same holistic lens she applies to everything else. She says, "I want to make everyone feel beautiful & look & their best."

Fitness and Nutrition Coaching

Beyond the spa, Phoenix Touch houses a private fitness studio where Destinie works with clients one on one. At Phoenix, fitness and nutrition are medicinal, and movement and quality nutrition are the pathway to mental, physical and spiritual health. "I train people from within, I teach them how to conquer and thrive," she says. "I teach a lifestyle that people can embrace for many moons to come. I teach them how to walk In beauty!"

"I was very fortunate to grow up around my grandfather's boxing gym," she says. "I come from a long line of bad ass fighters. My grandfather was a boxing coach and my daddy was a knockout artist. Since I can remember I've always had a fascination with the human body. I discovered my love for fitness at a very young age. I evolved to know that fitness saves lives. I wanted to do more than just break the body down or build it up - I wanted to heal it. Fitness is a root medicine that I believe everyone needs for mental, physical and emotional health. It conquers sickness such as anxiety, depression and addiction."

As a personal trainer Destinie has worked with a vast array of people of all health and fitness levels. She specializes in working with athletes ranging from physique and bodybuilding competitors, soccer, football and basketball players, boxers, MMA fighters and crossfitters. Destinie has extensive formal training in exercise science, holistic healthcare, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. She is a "Life Giver," and that nickname has quietly become her signature.

Destinie is a life coach, a dream weaver, and would like to offer a safe space where broken threads of life are woven into a tapestry of strength, clarity and purpose.
